The material to be covered can be found on the web site.

Homework: | (a) Graded:
One problem set for each Chapter;
to be submitted online; due as announced.
(b) Assigned but not collected or graded:
Some problems will be worked out in class. You are expected to work out the
rest of the problems on your own.
A list of all assigned problems is available on the web site.

Tests: | Tue., Sept. 13, Tue., Oct. 11, and Thu.,
Nov. 10; in class, closed book and no notes allowed;
bring a non-programmable calculator.
No make-up tests will be given. If you miss a test for a legitimate reason
that you have discussed with me before the test,
your score will be adjusted at the end of the semester depending on your
overall performance in class.

Final: | Mon., Dec. 12 (5:00 - 7:00 pm),
comprehensive, in class,
closed book and no notes allowed;
bring a non-programmable calculator.

Grade: |
15% lab (you must pass it to pass the course);
15% homework; 15% each of the three tests; 25% final.
